  William was the son of Lewis A. Driskell who was born in KS in ca 1816, according to the 1880 census which lists "father" Lewis living with William
  William was b.about 1846 in IN. and was 14 years older than Samantha.

  They were living:

  The 1880 census also lists two children living with Samantha and William but their relationship is not listed. They were Cora A.born circa 1878 and Royal Edward born circa 1880. In the 1920 census Royal is listed as a son so I assume Cora is a daughter. Royal, who died in 1943 near Heppner, OR is buried with Samantha, William and Roscoe.at the Weston, OR cemetery, East section G, row 4.
  Royal was 39 and still single in 1920, living with parents. He was a Engineer - Gas Tractors

  1920 census has Rawlins Dunnck, son-in-law living with Mary's father widower John Meyers. John Meyers is 64 b. in IN, his parents in Germany. His occupation is listed at Hardware. Rawlins and Mary are both 33, John is 9 and Samuel 2.

Except for recent winters spent in Islamorada, Fla., Sam and his wife, Ann, enjoyed their years in the area of his birth, South Bend, Ind., and nearby Niles, Mich.

Postwar he entered the family firm, G. E. Meyer and Son, eventually becoming president. He sold the business in 1987.

Sam also served as a director of a savings and loan association, was active in the local chamber of commerce, the county planning commission, and the watershed commission. Fishing, "frustrating golf," and landscaping his rural homesite "on the banks of the beautiful St. Joseph River"

An on-line translation of the marriage index has the name spelled Landerman siting the same source. This need to be checked again.

  1850 census has the Lowderman's and Stradley's living near each other in Henry township, Fulton County, Indiana. Spelled Lowderman. age 42 b. Ohio. The Lowderman children were Sarah 18, Philip 13, Charles 10, Nancy J. 8, John H. 5, and Susan 2. His new bride Sarah is 18.

  When Mary E. LOUDERMAN married Wm. B. LAWYER McDonough Co. IL, Stradley signs as father.
  1850 census for Henry twp., Fulton Co. IN has John Stradley age 41, b. MD. with three children Nancy age 15 b. OH, and John H. age 9 born IL and Rachel J. age 8 b. IL. He lives in HH 75 and John & Sarah Lowderman in HH 80 (Another Stradley family is in HH 79). John Stradley is a carpenter.
  1860 census shows 51 year old Stradley with 16 year old Rachel Stradley, presumably his daughter, Sarah age 27 and the Louderman children ranging in age from 5 to 21. Three Louderman children were born before Sarah married "Lauderman" in 1849. -both husbands must have been widowers. Living with Stradley in 1860 was Charles Louderman age 21, Nancy age 18, and Susan age 12, all born before her marriage to Louderman in 1849. (In some census transcriptions Sarah is omitted - you have to go to an original images to find her. - Orig. page #162 I found by looking for John Greer b. Ire 1816. Last family on previous page.)
  The 1880 census lists her age as 48 and Stradley as 71. Living in the town of Naples, Scott County, IL

s/o Francis, Sr. (1819-1887) and 1st wife, Jane L. (m. 1845) (JAGO) KEYS - James was the oldest of 17 children fathered by Francis and his two wives. The Keys family immigrated from Ireland when Francis was 14 and settled in Pike Co., IL. In 1850 they moved to Logan Co. IL where #1 Jane d. in 1855. Francis' 2nd wife was Margaret Rutledge. Francis in died 1887 and Margaret at the age of 86 in1823.
