One day when I was in Junior High School I had an inner ear infection. This made it impossible to stand up so my Grandfather (Pearl) came to the house to stay with me. We were watching some western on TV and in the the picture was a stagecoach. My Grandfather started telling me the story of how he was a young man, in 1892, was driving a stagecoach into Coffeyville, Kansas, when my Grandfather saw some men riding out of town and found out later, was the Dalton gang leaving on what was their last bank robbery. Four of them ended up dead. They didn't bother the stage as they must of had enough for the day. I think that was the famous Coffeyville Raid. I wish now I had questioned him more but that was the end of the story. Ronald

Phebe (widow Bell) DUNNUCK (2nd wife of Joshua - ) See Joshua
I believe that Phebe Bowman, widow of Isaiah Bell is the 2nd wife of Joshua. Phebe Bell had me stumped for a long time.- I thought and expected Phebe to be a Tallman but could never find the connection--See the following on Phebe BOWMAN. and the Tallman connection
There is an Isaiah Bell, the brother of Rebecca BELL wife of Samuel DUNNUCK (OCK). Isaiah BELL, who was born in 1788 in Rockingham Co. Va., m. a Phebe BOWMAN on March 22, 1814 in Pickaway Co. OH, then Isaiah died in August 18, 1815, leaving his young widow, Phebe Bell.
Pheobe Bell weds Joshua DUNNICK - marriage bond issued Oct. 25, 1825, Source: Early Marriage Bonds of Ohio - Pickaway County compiled by DAR, Book 2.
To make matters even more interesting, Rebecca BELL, wife of Samuel DUNNUCK had a sister Mary Bell b. 1792 in Rockingham Co. VA who wed a James TALLMAN in 1809 in Fairfield Co. OH. This James is the brother of Joshua's 1st wife, Dianah TALLMAN. Both families lived in Fairfield Co. OH.
Thomas J., b. ca 1830, son of Joshua and Phebe (widow BELL) m. a Ruth BOWMAN in 1854
Joshua & first wife Dianah also named a daughter Phebe, but this is not so telling since Phebe was also the name of Dianah's mother Phebe (Henton) Tallman. The Bell's, like the Tallmans also migrated from Rockingham Co. VA.
