	David (age 30) is listed in his father's household in Franklin Co. KS in 1875 1850 census for Sangamon Co. IL, taken in August lists David as 7 yrs. old.
	Went originally to WY as a sheepherder
	Cattleman in WY, probably with his cousin's Cattle Co.
	1880 census has a David at Tongue Creek, carbon County, WY - listed as farm labor..where he is listed as 36 (but in 1880 he is also listed at home with his father Joshua, in KS and incorrectly lists his age as 27...he would have been 37)
	He eventually became the postmaster in Sheridan, WY
	Owned land on a street known as Dunnuck Street, and still called Dunnuck Street in 2002
	" Dunnuck street is name in honor of Dave Dunnuck, congenial cowman with the hearty laugh. Dunnuck once ran the "Flying E" outfit." (Newspaper clipping from a Sheridan Post July 31, 1927
	from obituary - "came to WY in 1880 with Captain E. Cross, cousin. Only other relative in the country." Member of the Cross Cattle Company and stockholder in Bank of Sheridan. Lived in room behind post office. (cremated/metallic casket) d. of rheumatism of the heart.
	November 1889 served as a Grand Juror in Sheridan, WY
	d. 8 October 1890 - Sheridan WY. - buried Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Cemetery lot was purchased by his estate.

	In letter dated March 1893 from an attorney in Sheridan WY to the probate Judge for Joshua's estate (David's father) it appears that David predeceased his father. The letter is confusing and is transcribed in full in the section on Wills. This letter makes no mention of Joshua but was in Joshua's probate file. It also refers to Thomas and Maggie J. (wife of Joshua).

	He was the son of Jetji Duinnick who was probably born about 1900 or after - in the Netherlands.
	This Dunnink family arrived in California from Canada. They originated in the Netherlands and migrated in the early 1950's to Vancouver Canada. About 1958 a Dirk settled in California. He ultimately became an educator living in Brea, Fontana, and San Bruno CA.
	Dirk was a common name in the family descendants of Harms of Netherdlands.

	from page 195, biography of Lewis S. Clayton, he indicates that his family came to Mentone in 1882, only two days after William Kintzel. Both families occupied the same house for a time. Clayton's family was the second to settle in the new village (Mentone)
